Convenience?

So in Metro Manila apparently buses are now mandated to have contactless payments which actually is not a bad idea especially in this pandemic but I think the implementation is too sudden, they should have a slower rollout first like cash payments still allowed for a certain amount of time before going full contactless. Also, the transportation card must be affordable and there shouldn't be a convenience fee everytime you load up! I used to a ride Point-to-Point bus to work which uses a card too but there's option for cash as well. When you load up, there's no convenience fee at all! I hope they fix this soon enough, commuting is already hard so why add more burden?
