I've been listening to interviews of Frankie Muniz and Justin (Reese) for the Malcolm in the Middle revival, and from what I gather, it really is supposed to be a TV movie only and it looks like it was Craig's call to make it a 4-episode "event" . Frankie did say the 4 episodes are really just one continuous story and he said that the story left on a good note, that if it's really the last time it would be good place to conclude. But I think Craig wants a series revival, the show is popular overseas especially Latin America because the humor is so easily translatable to non-Americans so could be a good thing for Disney. So excited to watch it next week!
