Billboard Hot 100 (Issue Date: June 18, 2011)

Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" logs its 5th straight week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the song will likely top next week's chart for a 6th week which will be, along with Lady GaGa's "Born This Way", the longest run at #1 so far this year.

Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song" rises to #4, earning a new peak and also matches the lowest peaking Bruno Mars-related song Travie McCoy's "Billionaire" which also peaked at #4. The song has a shot to get a new peak at #3 as it has rising airplay and solid sales but a top 2 peak, much less #1, is a long shot with "Rolling in the Deep" still strong and #2 Pitbull's "Give Me Everything Tonight" soaring on both airplay and sales.

Nicki Minaj is thisclose on landing her first top 10 hit as a lead artist as the insanely catchy "Super Bass" jumps to #11 this week. Nicki Minaj has two top 10 song as a featured artist: Britney Spears' "Til The World Ends (Remix)" which peaked at #3 and Trey Songz' "Bottoms Up" which peaked at #6. Her highest peaking song as a lead artist is "Moment For Life" with Drake which peaked at #13.

One Republic's "Good Life" jumps #23-#16 this week, their 3rd highest ranking song after "Apologize" (#2) and "Stop and Stare" (#15). This is an impressive achievement for a 4th single form an album that was released two years ago and had disappointing sales. I personally hope it could break the top 10 but that's tough thing to do these days as pop/rock band songs struggle on the Hot 100. Last year, Train's "Hey, Soul Sister" was the only pop/rock band song that broke in the Top 10. Will "Good Life" break the drought? Let's wait and see.

Coldplay earns their 6th Top 40 hit with their new single "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" enters the chart at #29, this week's top debut. Coldplay's other Top 40 hits were "Viva La Vida" (#1 for 3 weeks), "Speed of Sound" (#8), "Christmas Lights" (#25), "Clocks" (#29) and "Violet Hill" (#40). Coldplay's other notable songs "Yellow" and "Fix You" peaked at #48 and #59, respectively. While my favorite Codplay song of all time "The Scientist" failed to chart.

Country star Jason Aldean's "Dirt Road Anthem" rises to #23 this week, expect this song to surpass Aldean's previous best "Big Green Tractor" which peaked at #18 two years ago. The song's remix featuring Ludacris is currently in US iTunes Top 10 while the original is still in top 10 as well so the accumulated sales for both versions will push the song in the Top 10, and perhaps Top 5, zone next week.

After dropping out last week, Lady GaGa's "Judas" re-enters the chart at #78 but don't expect the song to have a renaissance as third single "The Edge of Glory" already overshadowed it in both sales and airplay rises #8-#7 this week. Meanwhile, Beyonce's 'Run The World (Girls" drops from its peak position at #29 last week all the way down to #55 this week. Beyonce's new single "Best Thing I Never Had" enters the chart at #84

After almost dropping out on the chart last week, Bruno Mars' "Grenade" and "Just The Way You Are" avoids going recurrent this week with Grenade staying put at #50 (36 weeks) and "Just The Way You Are" climbing to #44 from #48 last week (46 weeks on the chart).
