Charice to make Chart History!

Charice perfomed her single "Note to God"on Oprah today and as expected she is blasting on the US charts! I was very sure she will get a huge boost, after all a performance on Oprah made Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love a success in the US and Josh Groban's Noel the best selling album in the US in 2007 despite being a CHRISTMAS album. But I did not expect that Charice's single will do this well, see the numbers below:

As a chart geek and a Filipino, I'm so thrilled that Charice's international debut single is doing well. I'm so excited for her, she will chart on the US Billboard Hot 100 this week for sure! The first Filipino to do since I believe Jocelyn Enriquez 12 years ago with A Little Bit of Ecstacy and Do You Miss Me 12 years ago. She will definitely make chart news this week. I'm very excited. It's really amazing how YouTube paved the way for her to reach this kind of success. Ayos!
